Chicano Heat started in 2011, under the leadership and manager Larry Lobato Jr- Colorado Chicano Music Hall of Fame inductee 2025, 3 other members also inducted Bernie Martinez, Abel Aragon, Robin Garcia all (chofi) Rick Fierro.

If you love Tex-Mex, New Mexico, Latin, Country and Old School.  They promise to get you on the down floor. They have played all over Colorado venues, such as the Levitt Pavilion, KUVO studio, National Western Stock show complex, Schriever Air Force Base Colorado Springs United States space force, numerous cities throughout Colorado State and County fairs. Chicano Heat made and recorded their first cd Hacienda Recuerdos in 2017 voted one of the top Latin bands in Colorado by WestWord magazine. Proclamation City of Commerce City named Chicano Heat Band as the official hometown band of Commerce City. They have opened for Al Hurricane band, Little Joe y la Familia, Gonzalo, Ruben Ramos, Michael Salgado, Roberto Griego, Dr Loco, Cota the Barber, MC Magic, Baby Bash, Tierra, Louie the singer, Pepe Marquez, Ozomatli, MKY Jimenez and Los Garcia Bros just to name a few.
